The third dimension comes with additional scope for design, also in computer graphics. After an internship at DesignRaum, a Swiss studio for architectural visualization, I always enjoy spending my time on various smaller and bigger projects in 3D graphics. Here are some examples.
The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL is a classic example of car design in the fifties. The following pictures try to capture these vintage aesthetics with the clarity and sharpness of modern 3D computer graphics.

The following short was originally made for a concert of local accordion players. It was simple entertainment for the audience during a short break. The film shown here is an updated version, re-rendered in 4K.

The following two pictures originate from my time at DesignRaum. The same home is shown once in perfect condition and once destroyed. The second version was presented in the Swiss magazine Hochparterre and invites to discover many small details that are easily overlooked on first sight.
