Photography allows me to capture great moments for every, to show uncommon perspectives and put inconspicuous things in focus. Here are some impressions of my work, roughly ordered in the categories nature, fluids, pets, humans, and events.
Nature delivers the greatest light and the greatest colors, and thus is often the center point of my pictures. Here a small collection of more or less abstract pictures. Some focus just on the mood brought by the beautiful natural light, others show animals or plants.

My interest in fluid dynamics is also mirrored in my choice of subjects shown on my pictures. The following photos offer unfamiliar views on water and fire. They show movements or small details that are usually overlooked, yet present in our daily lives.

Easier than capturing wild animals on a photo is of course capturing pets. But they still look great. Cats are usually particularly photogenic due to their unhurried patience with the photographer.

Sometimes even humans and human-made objects manage to be on my pictures, often however with a special focus or shown from an uncommon view.

The biggest challenge of event photography is to capture the present situation with the available light in a beautiful picture. Here, my goal is to put the central persons in focus and put everything else in the background.
